The painter, the national artist of RussiaMikhail Sergeevich was born in Ivanovo - Voznesensk on September, 14, 1918. Art education has received in the Ivanovo art school (1933-1938) from M.S.Pyrina, A.M.Kuznetsova and other known artists. A degree picture - “Cheerful minute”.Behind M.S.Ageeva's shoulders - service in army and war, tens of exhibitions and hundreds of products. Since 1947 he is a member of the Union of artists, a member of the CPSU since 1943. M.S.Ageeva's landscapes are filled with silence, a pacification, sensation of a deep, internal life of the nature. The artist is able to express in masterly fashion ease of morning haze (a pastel “the Sun rises”), weightlessness of “Evening shadows”, and unsteady charm of “Evening motive”. Among spring landscapes there are such pictures as “Solar March”, “In April”, “Days of the first thunder-storms”. The most part of woks of artist is written in native places, in an average strip of Russia. White churchs, made of logs izbas are grown together with an environment in landscapes precisely and naturally in landscapes, they are organically entered in a composition. City landscapes are various also. They are recovered with the recognized concrete details, remembered details. Keeping fidelity to modest beauty of native places, M.S.Ageev has created also excellent cycles of works during creative trips across Crimea, to Moldavia and Karelia. M.S.Ageev is the constant participant of regional, zone, republican, all-union exhibitions. Besides several big personal expositions, including in the Ivanovo art museum, he constantly suits small exhibitions in city and areas of area. M.S.Ageeva's works are in the State Russian museum and museum - reserve Plesskom, in many other state and private collections.
